Wow, much has happened since I blogged last. I'm so sorry I didn't have a chance to post last weekend. I had limitted time at the internet cafe and had to book my flight for next semester.

Since I last posted, my team left Swaziland and came back to South Africa for a big Thanksgiving celebration. It was fun to see peolple I haven't seen in a while but it didn't quite feel like Thanksgiving as I was sitting in shortsleevse feeling hot. But TIA (this is Africa). The food was suprisingly American with excellent Turkey and all that goes into a Thanksgiving feast.

After that, we had day to get backed and ready to drive 14 hours to Jeffery's Bay, South Africa, where I will be for the next 2 weeks. Special speekers are coming and and we will be learning about Christian leadership in the morning and going out to townships to play with kids and visit people in the afternoon. I will have to admit that I feel quite spoiled because the cabins we are staying in are only a block away from the beautiful Indian Ocean. It's a little too cold and windy for me to swim but others on my team have been getting in the water.

As I mentioned, I had to buy my plane ticket for next semester and as I was looking at my account I need to raise a bit more support. I am short about $1,000.
