First of all, thank you so much for all your prayers. I here about how people are praying for me back home and it encourages my heart so much. Thank you. Also, thank you for all the comments on my blog. I love you here from everyone and get encouragement in that way too. Sorry I’m a couple days late posting. We took a day trip to South Africa on Monday which was a lot of fun. I’m glad to be back in Swaziland though.
This week Kristin and I have continued our work in the squatter camp. I love the work there but so many times get overwhelmed with the need. There is so much going on but I just don’t know how to help. I simply pray everyday for God to rescue these kids and their community.
Kristin and I are learning how to cook so that we can fill in on Thursday this week. It’s interesting trying to learn over an open fire cooking an African meal for about 100 children. Please pray the food is edible tomorrow.
I keep talking about my ministry partner Kristin. She is 20 years old, from Michigan, and I love her. It’s great to have a team going in trying to figure things out. If you would like to read her blog, you can do so at Kristinlampen.myadventures.org.
